I'm raising my rating from my initial 2 stars (I honestly didn't expect any support) to 5 stars because they genuinely appeared determined to help me (because the unit worked amazingly well prior to whatever the issue is that came up). In all honesty, I believe that these devices are well functioning before they are dispatched. The hard drive for the DVR may be damaged by needless shaking of the device, which is not the seller's or manufacturer's fault, since they were probably not handled carefully during loading and shipment. I'm pleased with how the camera performed. Its 1080p. One camera is placed next to a street light, and thanks to the starlight function, that region is kept color-lit and can be seen rather well. I can see what's going on there rather clearly because the second camera is in a more shady area and utilizes a gray IR feed. Unfortunately, I don't believe any of these cameras have a mechanical zoom like the conventional fully connected camera security systems, thus I doubt they can "zoom" in and actually see someone's face or a license plate. However, that's simply a limitation they all have. I can't comment on the facial recognition feature of the higher level Wyze plans because I haven't used their version of person recognition.

This arlo pro or arlo essential indoor camera works well and is nice to use. This arlo pro has a greater resolution and significantly better audio quality than the original 1080p cameras, so I added this arlo pro to my additional two camera arrangement. Since there is no normal USB plug for backup charging, I think the magnetic charger of arlo essential indoor camera is wonderful but problematic if you misplace the charger dongle. Since the app constantly nags you to upgrade to premium services even if you choose to keep files in local storage, I probably won't purchase any additional Arlo pro devices. Perhaps because there are too many people who pass by the street where I live; normally, it only lasts for about two weeks. However, I truly enjoy this arlo pro and can get a video that is so clear from it!

And I'm giving them everything back. In addition, I strongly advise all potential consumers to seriously consider searching elsewhere for their security camera needs. When it comes to supporting their products, Reolink is utterly INEPT. A paper clip-thick protrusion that fits into the camera's body secures the flap to the device. That really little piece of rubber holding the flap in place broke when I tugged on it.

Here is a nighttime video taken with the XT2 camera. Be aware that the area has a motion detector light on. Around my home, there are seven blinks, one indoor camera with a fair day resolution, and grain at maximum. My outside camera offers excellent resolution during the day. It might be rather location-dependent.
Daytime has the best image quality. The video claims to be 1080p, but the fish-eye lensing makes it hard to tell who is who in the video or still pictures but the shape of people. We connected these new "outside" cameras via the app to the outdated sync module, and right away we received a notification saying we had free cloud storage for recorded video.
